How do I delete my account?
If you would like to close your account, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I create a test account?
Yes, you can sign up for a free entry level account. It’s a great way to take a look at the system and see if it will suit your needs. Please note that you may publish test records, but in order to maintain the quality of the public content in eHive you must unpublish test data within 30 days. This is in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
What will increase my account usage?
Account usage is generally driven by the size and amount of the images you are linking to your object records. For example, the free entry level account has a 50MB storage capacity. This allows for storage of up to 5,000 object records with no images attached, or approximately 200 object records each with one image attached (or fewer object records with more than one image attached).
Whether you store your original images or not will affect your storage levels, and therefore your overall cost. Please see the Image Storage section of the Internal Account Settings topic for more information.
When you create reports in eHive they are stored in your account for you to download. They use space in your account until you choose to delete them.
Is there a time limit on my account?
Free entry level accounts do not expire, and you will not have to move to a higher level account unless you require more storage. If you have a paid level of eHive account, then you will have to renew it at the end of your period of use (whether you purchased a one year or five year licence) to have continued access at that level.

Are there any hidden costs?
The only extra charge is optional. If you want to import records into your system in bulk, you can use our import service.
