When you are ready to save your record, click the ‘Save’ button. You will then be presented with two options for publishing:
- If you want to keep your record private within your own account, untick the Publish to eHive checkbox and press OK.
- If you want to save your record and publish it to eHive for all visitors and users of eHive to see, tick the checkbox and press OK.
Note: This pop up Publish Options window will always appear. Your publishing default determines whether this checkbox is already ticked or not, but you can override this at the point of saving.

Publishing to a Community when saving
If you have joined a Community then you will also see that Community listed as a publishing option when you press Save.
If you have chosen to include a Community as a default publishing location, then the checkbox will already be ticked, however you may change your mind at this point and untick the checkbox and the record will not be published to that Community.
